UCM Plan Enhancement Project: Research Administrator Information and Updates

As a follow up to the Dec 19 message regarding UCM Plan Enhancement Project: Latest Developments, note the following updates and changes that will impact Research Administrators (RAs) as part of the UCM Plan Enhancement Project:

  • SmartView Task-Level Data Removal: Task-level data reporting will no longer be available in SmartView.
  • SmartView Project-Level Reporting: SmartView will retain project-level data reporting capabilities.
  • GL and PPM Project Reporting: SmartView will support project reporting directly from the Financial Cube (GL data only).
  • Alternate Reporting Option: An additional reporting option will be available through PPM Subledger via the Faculty Project Portfolio report.
Stay Updated
As we prepare for the March 21 go-live date, ORED is working with the project team on testing, as well as developing RA-specific guidance and training. ORED will be providing additional information regarding training and guidance as updates become available.
