Stacey Texieira, Audit, Corporate Card, and Systems Supervisor
I’m very pleased to announce that Stacey Teixeira has been appointed as our new Audit, Corporate Card, and Systems Supervisor. Stacey has been part of the UC Merced community since 2010, bringing a wealth of institutional knowledge, operational expertise, and a deep commitment to service excellence.
Over the past 15 years, Stacey has been a key contributor to the success of Travel & Expense Management. She has played an instrumental role in strengthening our audit processes, improving system functionality, and supporting compliance with UC policies while maintaining a strong focus on customer service and campus collaboration.
In her new role, Stacey oversees audit operations, manage the T&E and Event Card programs, and lead system enhancement initiatives designed to strengthen compliance, transparency, and user experience. She will continue to work closely with campus partners and her team to advance process improvements and ensure consistency in our travel and expense operations.

Katrina Trexler, DFA Chief Administrative Officer
I’m thrilled to announce that Katrina Trexler has stepped into the role of Chief Administrative Officer for the Division of Finance and Administration (DFA). Katrina has been part of the UC Merced community for over 10 years, bringing extensive experience and a deep commitment to operational excellence.
Throughout her tenure, Katrina has made significant contributions across campus through her work with Dining Services, CBS2, and most recently within the Office of the Vice Chancellor. Her collaborative approach and can-do spirit have been instrumental in supporting the success of multiple units.
As Chief Administrative Officer, Katrina will guide DFA’s administrative processes, including financial, budgetary, and personnel functions. She will play a vital role in ensuring operational efficiency and alignment with the division’s strategic goals, while fostering collaboration across teams.
