I am happy to announce the appointment of Lucero Mascorro as Director of Administrative Budget and Policy in the Office of Financial Planning & Analysis .
Lucero joined UC Merced in November 2018 as a financial analyst for Student Affairs and has played key roles in numerous projects that benefit the university.
In her new role, Lucero and her team will support the campus community by providing guidance on budgetary matters to assure optimum deployment of fiscal resources across administrative units, including the Office of the Chancellor; External Relations & Strategic Communications; Student Affairs; Physical Operations, Planning and Development; the Division of Finance and Administration; the Office of Information Technology; and the Division of Equity, Justice and Inclusive Excellence.
Lucero brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to this assignment, and I am excited for her opportunity to lead FP&A's mission to support financial planning and fund management at UC Merced. Please join me in congratulating Lucero in her new role.
