Dear Division Colleagues,
We are pleased to announce that Jennifer Riedeman has accepted the role of Interim Director of General Accounting. Jennifer has been with UC Merced for more than eight years, including the last six as Director of Treasury, Accounts Payable Disbursements & Cashiering.
Her interim appointment begins Friday, April 1.
We will conduct a full recruitment to fill the permanent role of Director of General Accounting. We also continue to work to fill other vacancies on the accounting team and have started the process of reviewing and documenting all tasks related to General Accounting. Please reach out to us with any questions about this transition process.
We want to thank Arturo Martinez for his six-plus years of service with UC Merced and his role as a longtime member of the Business and Financial Services team, including Director of General Accounting. We wish him good fortune in his future endeavors.
