Telecommute Agreement Forms Due June 30

Greetings,

Just a reminder that DCC-based DFA staff members whose regular schedule will include working off-site must complete a new Telecommute Agreement form by Wednesday, June 30. Some helpful details:

  • All current telecommute agreements with UC Merced staff expire Wednesday, June 30.
  • Where the form requests an expiration date for the agreement, enter Sunday, Aug. 1.
  • Subsequent agreement forms that reflect any work schedule changes after July 1 can be filed by Monday, Aug. 2.
  • The form offers three work schedule “modalities.” Select the one that best fits your work schedule in July:
    • At least 60% working on-site (example: three days per five-day workweek)
    • Up to 60% working off-site
    • 100% remote
  • In a text field below the modality choices, you can provide details of your work schedule (example: on-site Tuesdays and Thursdays).

Interim Vice Chancellor/CFO Kurt Schnier has recommended that Division staff members begin to return to the Downtown Campus Center for on-site work on Thursday, July 1, but on a schedule that suits their personal needs.

DCC-based DFA employees will not be required to report to on-site work until Monday, Aug. 2, when staff are expected to be on-site at least 20% of the time (over a two-week period). On Monday, Aug. 23, expected on-site time will increase to 40% (over a two-week period). Please reference the original DFA Return to On-Site Work Plan.

Please refer to the Do Your Part Digest sent June 25 and to the Do Your Part website for the latest information about safety protocols, vaccination requirements and general preparations for largely in-person work and instruction by fall semester.
