As we approach the March 21 go-live date, note the following training updates and advisories.
This Week: Various Trainings Sessions

Sessions will be recorded and will be added to the UC Learning Center. The UCM Plan SmartView Training recording is now available in the UC Learning Center (click HERE). We encourage you to review the recording at any time to refresh your familiarity with SmartView, along with maximizing your experience at this week's trainings.
Budget Request Submission Deadline
Due to UCM Plan being unavailable for processing of budget requests from Monday March 10 through Thursday March 20, all GL Budget Requests must be submitted no later than 12:00 PM this Thursday March 6 to ensure review of requests and processing of approvals prior to the system cutoff. Requests submitted by this deadline will be reviewed and processed by EOD Friday, March 7.
All other requests must be submitted in the new UCM Plan environment, which will become available on Friday March 21.
Advisory: SmartView Access Requests
Effective immediately, all SmartView access requests will be put on hold until the March 21 UCM Plan Enhancement go-live date.
Requests submitted via the EPM Access Request ticket will be reviewed after March 21. Please direct any questions regarding new SmartView access requests to dofa@ucmerced.edu.
Upcoming Dates and Deadlines

Thurs March 6 at 12 noon – Budget request submission deadline

March 10 – 19 – Budget requests cannot be processed, but data remains available for reporting.

Thurs March 20 – System will be completely offline for go-live preparations.
- Fri March 21 – System will be available with all enhancements.
