Campus colleagues,
The Oracle Data Integrity Project (ODIP) is investigating and addressing variances in UC Merced’s financial management system.
When ODIP began its work in November 2021, about 600 projects were identified as out of alignment. As of June 21, 50% of those projects have been aligned, including 65% of projects based on external contracts and grants. Of the 302 total aligned projects, 38% have been inspected and corrected by Financial Planning & Analysis staff and research personnel, then re-introduced to the financial system.
Adjustments to how the system accepts input of project attributes, along with cooperation by users and stakeholders across the university, have helped push ODIP forward. The ODIP team will continue to provide updates on its progress on the team page.
