As a follow-up to my announcement regarding Amanda Preston-Nelson joining DFA as Assistant Vice Chancellor and Controller on Feb. 14, I would like to share a Business and Financial Services staffing update.
The university is moving forward with the internal recruitment of an Assistant Controller. The following BFS units will be under their purview: General Accounting; Treasury, Banking and Cashiering Services Disbursements; Travel and Expense Management; Student Business Services; Tax Services; Payroll Services, and Project Portfolio Financial Management.
As an internal recruitment, the position is posted for two (2) weeks starting today and is open only to UC Merced employees, allowing current staff the opportunity to advance their career. Interested individuals are asked to visit the recruitment website ( jobs.ucmerced.edu ) and apply to Posting Number 29318 no later than midnight Wed, Jan. 19.
