What is the Financial System Replacement Project?
The Financial System Replacement Project provides UC Merced an opportunity to streamline it's aging financial systems by standardizing business processes and modernizing systems related to our general ledger, expense and revenue management, financial reporting and budget governance. UC Merced's financial systems provide the backbone for our daily administrative activities and play a crucial role in supporting the advancement and accomplishment of the university's goals and objectives. The financial information system will replace our outdated financial systems with new, more flexible technology, reduce difficult and redundant business processes, and share financial data in a more streamlined and flexible way across campus systems.
We are currently in the planning process to replace our aging current systems with an updated, flexible and modern system(s) that will keep pace with rapidly changing business and information needs. More information will be provided here and through campus announcements as it becomes available.
