Transition Update to the Division

Dear Colleagues,

As I begin to work with CFO/VCFA Veronica Mendez and our Finance and Administration Teams to transition into my new role as Interim CFO/VCFA, I would like to let you know some of the steps I will take to ensure stability with the Controller and Business and Financial Services functions that I have been performing.

Effective immediately, Kim Groesbeck, our Assistant Controller will serve as Interim Controller and Assistant Vice Chancellor of Business and Financial Services. In this role, Kim will provide oversight for General Accounting, Travel Services, Treasury, Banking and Cashiering Services, and Student Business Service departments with specific responsibility for Tax Services and certain functions that currently reside within Cost and Policy.

Josh Dubroff, our Chief Procurement Officer, will continue to report directly to me but will assume responsibility, on an interim basis, for the Administrative Coordination Team (ACT). Tony Smullen, Executive Director of ACT will report to Josh.

Our new AVC for Auxiliaries and Fiscal Innovation, Alan Coker, will assume responsibility for Transportation and Parking Services (TAPS) and the Early Childhood Education Center (ECEC).

The Division of Finance and Administration remains committed to organizational excellence and efficiency to the campus community.
